Land Next to Styrrup Road, 18th March
It appears as though large amount of wood and vegetation has been dumped and possibily built in this area, possibly a squatter. They have removed the National Highways sign and replaced it with "Private Property" signs.

A lot of litter pretty much along the whole length of the A1(M)...we are driving South from Scotland.... it's disturbing to see the amount of litter...clearly left there for a long period of time, including shredded plastic in the trees

There's a lot of fly tipping down the embankments in the woodland at the end of Styrrup Ln. Also a bit further down the road in the field there's sofa dumped. I don't think this is council land but I don't know how to report this to the landowner.

The Irony, 24th May
The Irony that you're showing your maintenance crews litter picking on a TV programme tonight, and telling road users to take their litter home! You are on of the biggest contributors to roadside litter throughout the road network! Old traffic cones broken thrown into the verges, sand bags, old metal signs frames etc is absolutely everywhere. I've even seen your equipment shredded by when you've cut the verges! Also roadside debris, car parts etc again thrown onto the verges and left. Yet you have the audacity to tell road users to take their rubbish home when you leave yours strewn everywhere! NATIONAL HIGHWAYS,HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME. I'll be watching tonight and laughing at the Irony!
