Central verge pillars are invisible due to dirt, 2nd February
All along Ladywood Road in the section between Cat and Fiddle Lane and Moor Lane there have been new central reservations put in place. The yellow pillars with blue arrows on these reservations have become covered in dirt which has made them very difficult to see. These do not (like some do) light up and therefore even if clean are sometimes hard to spot. This route is a cycling hotspot for overtaking and if someone attempt to overtake whilst unable to see the central reservation there is potential to cause a nasty accident and these should be made more visible as soon as possible.
In my opinion these have made the road unsafe in the first place even before they were dirty and difficult to see. The money would have been better spent making a cycle lane on this road!

Bollards obscured by dirt, 30th January
Bollards in the centre of the road marking the ends of the right-turn lane are covered in dirt. This poses a significant hazard at night as the bollards no longer reflect vehicle headlights. The islands upon which these bollards stand are therefore hard to see in the dark and increase the risk of a vehicle colliding with the islands.
