3. Retail Crime u2013 Anti social behaviour and retail
ACTION: 1. We will analyse police data to identify hot spots for drug related activity to identify those who have a problematic relationship with substances. With this information we will make referrals to partner agencies to enable them access to support. We will also deliver inputs to local children through school visits and engagement events to widen knowledge around this topic and spread awareness.
2. We will use police data to establish areas that attract anti-social behaviour caused by nuisance vehicles resulting in noise nuisance and disturbance. Joint working with other specialised teams within the force to be conducted to tackle these issues and dealt with efficiently. Officers will deploy to key locations and will effectively target vehicles driving or being used in an antisocial manner.
3. Officers to conduct regular patrols in the town centre and surrounding areas. Regular engagement visits will be conducted with retail premises within the Long Eaton area to provide reassurance and offer crime prevention advice. Engagement with key stakeholders such as local businesses and shop owners.
