Traffic lights that have continually never reliably worked, 24th November
These set of lights are continually out of order, failing. Sometimes it's dangerous on this roundabout when passing through as one set is working and the other is not. Sometime all off! Currently, the lights on the left are out of action (jsut prior to the turning for Hemington), whilst the rest of the lights on the island are working. Can this be sorted once and for all, so we continually have a reliable set of traffic lights!?

Public Footpath sign has been moved - confusing right of way, 25th January
There is a public footpath high up on a lamp-post on High Street in Castle Donington, that allows the public a right of way to the park near the Airport perimter fence. This public right of way path has been present for years and years and years. Recently, and I can't say without it is the owner of one of the properties next doo to the footpath, but the sign has been what appears deliberately pushed around and away from the public footpath, and pointing up High Street, This is confusing anyway that has the right of way to walk through this path, as it is not clear on where the path is. Also, the owner of the property where the path goes through, has erected white fencing and a gate, which makes it difficult to get access. Is this even legal on a public right of way. Also, they have erected a"Beware of the dog" sign on the public footpath gate that is at the start of the access. This is clearly put on to scare walkers. Again, is this legal to allow a dog that is potentially dangerous to walk around where children could be passing through.
Could these access issues be looked into please and clear access made available with the public footpath sign reinstated and pointing to the path clearly.
Many people would like to use this path during the year and at present, it either puts you off using the path or you don't know it's there.
Thank you
Joe.

Dangerous fallen tree, 22nd January
There is an uprooted tree, which is hanging over both the footpath and road, inches away from telephone lines. It is currently being supported by nearby conifer trees. This is on the bend on Darsway just before the steps leading to Salter Close It looks like someone has put out a couple of cones and a bit of tape, but it is not clear from the footpath the reason for the cones. The road leads to the primary school and therefore there are children and adults using the footpath on a daily basis.
