Van parked on bend, 2nd March
This van has continued to park on this bend Jordan Avenue Stretton near number 18 next to an hedge for several months now and causes obstruction to other passing vehicles. I’m afraid there has been some very near collisions on the bend due to this parking issue. It is also not directly under a streetlight which makes it all the more dangerous at nighttime.

Clay mills A5131 derby road worse than ever, 15th May
This area was filled in a few years ago with rubbish filling. On this road there is considerable high density of traffic. I use this stretch to the A38 north bound often It’s about time staffs county council resurfaced this stretch using concrete and tar to make it last much longer. This has been bad now since January 2023. It’s time it got sorted out. Cats are having to dodge the holes.

Numerous, wide, long, deep potholes that cover the entire width of the official road., 27th April
Potholes. Numerous. Wide, long and deep. Impossible to avoid without driving in hashed sections of the road. This is the slip road leading to A38 north out of Burton, as you swing round the bend, before a junction to somewhere else ( Stretton?). I believe this is the A5121. I don’t drive this way often, myself, but my normal route is closed, however I understand from those who drive this way regularly that this has been an issue for over a year.

Lorries regularly park on the pavement / cycle path, 17th April
There are two lay-by areas on the north-east-bound carriageway, one which I have marked on the map, and other about 0.5 miles to the north-east, and lorry drivers often use these areas to sleep in their lorries, and they often park across the cycle path, which runs beside the road. This means that cyclists and pedestrians are forced to go round the lorries close to the traffic, which is normally travelling fast (the speed limit is 70 mph). I think it would make things safer if there were a barrier or bollards to prevent lorries from mounting the pavement. I have been cycling this route regularly for over three years, and I often see this hazard. I have some photographs that I can provide if require, which clearly show how dangerous this can be.
