Several black bags, concrete lintels and builders rubble dumped about 8 feet inwards, on the verge, partly behind the trees. This is not at the 2 passing places, it is on the wide flat verge, further on towards the footpath.

Flytipping - Knabhall Lane Tansley- rubbish in/under/around 4 pink bags., 15th March
Knabhall Lane about 250 yards from junction with Whitelea Lane. 4 pink plastic bags containing rubbish. Two bags already ripped open, a garden chair under them and the tail board of a trailer with them. First noticed Monday 13 March 2023, and again today Wednesday 15 March 2023.

12 full black dustbin liners on west side of Knabhall Lane.Tansley., 21st December
These 12 bags, and a large tyre, have been there for over 3 weeks but no animals have torn them so presumably the bags do not contain food. Not at the pull-ins but under the last trees of the copse on the west side approaching from Whitelea Lane and before the Tansley footpath.

Poorly surfaced road with multiple potholes, 13th April
Badly pitted road with uneven surface along most of Lickpenny Lane. Can be dangerous as cars sit in the middle of the road to avoid the worst of the surface.

Deep wide hole with a second long thin but deep hole just below it when traveling towards Tansley, 8th April
These are large deep potholes on the left side of the road. I ride a bike so am particularly anxious about road damage such as this. I remember the female cyclist who died on Starkholmes road after hitting a very deep pothole. We don’t want this to happen again. PLEASE fix ASAP

Multiple potholes and dangerous road surface, 5th March
Multiple potholes along Lickpenny Lane. Too many to list. Road surface edge has significant drop off in sections and is dangerous to drive on. Corner is narrow anyway but cars are positioning in the centre of the road high potential for accident.
What doesn’t make sense is that holesrime gate road has had the edges resurfaced so I don’t understand why Lickpenny didn’t get done at the same time which is in a worse condition. The equipment was there.

Fly tipping down the bank to the beck, possibly from the adjacent landowner, 22nd August
This area just off the Row FP west of Tansley Knoll is a popular spot with informal paths. There is a considerable amount of fly tipping for approx. 100m in width coming down the bank to the beck. as well as displeasing to view, it is an environmental hazard to the wildlife in the beck

Dangerous parking, 8th August
Pedestrians are having to go around cars and vans as they can not walk on the pavement. Pushchairs and mobility scooters having to go in the road. Its not safe and not fair on pavement users.

A disabled resident on a disability scooter can not access the village, the resident lives on The Cliff and can not get any farther than Ashley Close, as there is no dropped kerb either side of the road

There are 3 chevron signs on the corner. The bottom one was hit by some in the snow and ice. It’s only held on by one post and swings in the wind.

Fly tipping of carcases on southern section of Knabhall Lane Tansley., 22nd November
Since the beginning of November 2020 a dead chicken has been lying on the verge just south of the pull -in (southern section, west verge) of Knabhall Lane. Further south, since 18/11/20 newly butchered remains of an animal, rib cage etc, have been dumped on the west side opposite the entrance to Quarry House, under the fir trees.
