Someone has abandoned their car outside my mothers house - No 1 Chapel Close, Youlgrave, DE45 1UN. On the Queens Highway Registration KR53 JSU Checked to find its MOT ended 2020 and it's on a SORN. Quad bike riding on pavement., 21st March
A resident living in west croft close, youlgrave de451we.riding a motor quad bike as and when ,is becoming a danger to residents and tourists and walkers and children on toys being ridden at speed to access his home being ,de451we .this is a accident waiting to happen its just a matter of time if this is okay then at least have it signed posted to one and all with regards.

Orange coloured trailer., 21st March
Orange coloured trailer being left un hitched for several months at the end of west croft close Youlgrave, it causes a problem being left there where its being left its a trip factor for the very elderly also have no reflectors on it to help to see it when people are parking there vehicles including ambulances and wheel chair access for the disabled which there are many of us this trailer has been left where it is since october 2020.

The road surface has been in poor repair for a couple of years. The large pothole in the corner is unavoidable when the residents of the house opposite park their car outside their house, meaning you have to drive through it. The parking area of the road needs resurfacing.

A number of 1 to 2 inch deep, 12 inch wide holes. Vehicles who know the problem swerve to avoid but others hit them causing damage to the vehicles., 17th May

Street light shines straight into our bedrooms, patio and into the eyes of anyone entering the property blinding them and making it dangerous., 11th April
The street light on the footpath between Moor Lane and West Croft has just been refurbished. It has not worked since we moved into our property. We find it is brighter than any other light in the area. This is a very real immediate problem for us as it shines into our bedroom, floodlights our patio and garden but most importantly it dazzles your eyes as you enter our property. This is a safety concern as the slopes of the land mean we have steps and slopes to traverse to get you our front door and these can no longer be seen due to the light shining directly into your eyes. Please could you send someone out to attached a deflector to shield the side that shines into our property

Road torn up, uneven and very badly damaged, 6th May
During major road works on a nearby road which lasted for 3ths in 2014 @ November, this road was used as a shortcut to Youlgrave even though it was signed access only, the heavy amount of traffic caused no end of damage along its length to the surface,verges etc. At the spot located the road is badly torn and potholed even though it has been repaired ( Badly) perhaps a 40ft section needs repair which is not helped by excess water running down hill and coming up through the broken surface. The road is also a safety issue as it is easy to be thrown off course if on 2 wheels.
