Huge pothole, several feet long. Too large to drive through. Cyclists would not fare any better. Drivers have to use wrong side of road to avoid it. Can be dangerous as a farm entrance is on opposite side. Been like this for a couple of months.

Poor parking, 12th March
I don't believe people should be able to park here. The council should rethink the double yellows. There is parking on the other side of the road which is perfectly adequate. This is a very busy road with many lorries. The parking causes obstruction, and it is difficult to see around the cars travelling up towards the main road. There is also an entrance /exit to the park right in front of where these cars are parking. This is a danger to our children.

Mud and debris, 18th December
The A6, Bakewell Rd on Saturday 18th December 2021. Mud, stone and other materials, where contaminating the highway. The nearby building site was obviously to blame as the trail, led directly into the entrance. The state of the road was bad enough for 4 wheeled vehicles, it would be much worse for 2 wheels. If it became wet it would be treacherous.

Fly tipping at Aston Lane, near SD FP 19, 2nd May
Several bits of fly-tipping on either side of Aston Lane, including broken tiles, garden soil waste and conifer off cuts. Talking to a dog walker, they said that the fly tipping was recent. A damaged sign in the lay-by, possibly warning against fly-tipping, could be re-eerected/replaced.

Zip-wire chained up, 22nd April
This has been either chained up with a padlock for just over a year due to the original covid-19 lockdown. Now DDDC are involved with the upkeep of the park, please can you release the padlock & chain and make safe the play equipment.

Traffic light not working, 19th February
The traffic lights outside the chip shop at Darley Dale. (A6). When driving from Matlock, the green light (on the lighting housing furthest away from chip shop), does not light up.

Potholes and landslip, 31st December
Between Oker and Lobby Farm there are so many potholes of varying size and depth that there's no point in showing one photo! There is also evidence of landslip into Wensleydale all along this stretch of road and particularly near Lobby farm. This is already a danger to cyclists and motorcyclists and will soon impact the two way flow of traffic. This is the result of years of patching and blocked drainage of the road from Oker hillside.

Dip in road over railway bridge getting much worse recently, 19th October
I use this road very often and have noticed that the dip in the road as you approach the bridge from the east side has got much more pronounced over the last year or so. It is now prudent to slow down. Could Bridge be failing?
