We have several potholes in the close, and at least one is quite deep and continuing to grow. Other areas are likely to become worse over the next few months., 10th March

Parking on Pavement, 28th February
Derby City Council recently laid a new pavement along Chain Lane, some of the houses have to cross the pavement to get in and out of their drives.
However, at this address the residents park 3 cars on the pavement daily and never park on their drive. I believe this contributed to the previous pavement becoming damaged and will damage the new pavement. They are the only household to do it.

Chevron Sign Blown Over - A38 / A516, Derby, 25th February
One of the chevron signs on the southbound sliproad onto the A516 from the A38 has blown over, owing to the support posts having rusted through at ground level. Many of the posts for adjacent signs are in similar condition, and would also benefit from replacement.

Approx 18 inch pothole up to 6 inches deep, 20th February
Very large pothole on the pavement but also part of where cars drive into the Sainsbury’s Local car park, adjacent to the traffic lights. I didn’t see it yesterday and drove over/into the pothole which felt like it was doing my car no good at all.

Dangerous potholes, 12th February
Potholes at this location and bend are causing drivers to change road positioning to avoid the holes. It is becoming more and more dangerous as drivers are looking at the road and not oncoming traffic. It is worse at school opening and closing times because of parent parking.

Overgrown trees Wansfell Close Mickkeover, 4th February
The residents of Wansfell close have been complaining for some years that the council have not maintained the trees properly in the public space in their close. In recent storms branches have broken off the trees landing on people's properties narrowly missing vehicles. They believe their concerns have been ignored even though the chief executive of Derby City council has been to the close and acccepted that pruning work needed to be carried out.There are approx 10 trees that need pruning work including one that may be infected as one private tree expert believes the crown of the tree was dead.There has been numerous and continous email chain between residents and the council tree department.

15 potholes of different diameters, 1st February
This is front of a school and the only road into the estate so a lot of traffic. The potholes are all over the road. different depts from 3.5cm to 4cm . Dangerous as during school drop off and pickup times there are cars parked both sides. Cars swerving to miss potholes. Its only time before a adult or child is going to be hit. Road needs to be fixed properly as the patchwork of past fixes is what causes the potholes to start quickly during winter months
