Pavement completely blocked, 1st May
Builder doing garden works on house in Walton road has partially blocked the pavement with supplies for several weeks. Today he has entirely blocked the pavement with building materials and is actually using a cement mixer, wheel barrow on the pavement meaning the only way past is on the road. When challenged he said I was being a prick. He is working alone so presumably leaves a plugged in cement mixer along with other materials unattended blocking the pavement.

Motorbikes, 30th April
To Echo the above about the sheer stupidity of the adults taking their children and toddlers over to the park to ride motorbikes for the last 3 evenings.
The park is a constant source of enjoyment for dog walkers and families playing in the dry weather. The last 3 afternoons/evenings from 4:30-6pm and 7:30pm tonight the park is totally unusable due to these inconsiderate people using this field as a motorbike track with no care for the public using it and the houses surrounding it. I have personally witnessed 2 very near accidents where one of the bikes has very nearly collided with dog walkers.
It has come to the point where the regular law abiding people who use the park every day are having to stay away. Not to mention the noise the bikes make, even with the windows closed, keep our young baby awake.
It very clearly states that people misusing the field will be issues a penalty. Well where/when will this be enforced? Every day there are more idiots and more bikes flying round the field and unless something is done about this then it will only escalate and the local residents will have to end up getting involved.
Some of the kids on these bikes with the adults/children are about 3 yrs old for goodness sake.
Please don’t click as same complaint when given the option and create you own complaint so something is done asap about this.

Ground being torn up by people riding motorbikes, 30th April
Over the last couple of evenings people have been riding motorbikes on Hurst Rec, the ground is being torn up and this use is incompatible with dog walkers and families who play on the rec in warmer weather. This has only just started happening. Some of the children riding the bikes are quite young and it is a concern that if they lose control someone or a dog could be seriously hurt. Don’t want to be a killjoy, but there are better more appropriate places to encourage kids to get into bikes.

Bexley Council refuses to repair, 30th April
Bexley council are refusing to repa the bollards at this location despite the garage still driving over the pavement into the road at this location. It is clear that Bexley Council do not care about public safety as they would have repaired or re the broken bollards, otherwise they have wasted tax payers money in installing them in the first place. Perhaps someone from the council would contact me to discuss this
