Litter and Detritus, 4th July
Build-up of litter and detritus on the sliproad from the A289 onto the A2 London-bound.
The edge of the road gulley is thick with inches detritus going out at least 1 or 2 feet into the road. Has not been swept in years.
Reported previously but nothing has been done.
Cannot be good for the drainage and safety of the road, as well as looking like an absolute state.
Vegetation/grass needs cutting back, litter needs clearing and the road gulleys desperately need sweeping.

Lots of gravel on the cycle path and rough surface, 6th March
There seems to be a lot of gravel on the cycle path coming down from Highham. There are also some bottles and glass on the cycle path.
The cycle path in general is in poor condition with a very rough surface making it dangerous to go downhill and almost unusable as a cycle path

A dangerous tree, 20th January
This tree is on my property and it between two houses and has become a danger to my neighbours property. It was there when I moved to my council house in 2006. And has now started to cause problems .

Large builders black bag with rubbish in it in middle of road in Woodlands Lane, 28th December
This large builders bag of rubbish has been in the middle of the road since Christmas evening. Cars are swerving to avoid it. Difficult to see it in the dark until you are almost upon it.

Poor street lighting, 10th December
Stretches of A2 have no street lighting, and signage on gantry hard to read.
Also some stretches of A13 in different places going towards QEII bridge have no street lights making for poor visibility on road markings and road signs.

Joining the M2 from the A289 near Park Pale, London-bound, 24th November
Severe build-up of detritus and much in the gulleys at the road side - has not been swept or scrapped up in years. Causes flooding in heavy rain.
The grass verge is growing over the kerbstones in some places where the detritus is inches thick.
Needs a scrape, a scarab and litter pick after years of neglect!

Collapsed manhole cover (again!), 15th November
This manhole cover has been collapsed for weeks! It is dangerous, and on an unlit section of the A226. When I walked along the pavement the signage had been knocked over, and broken cones were scattered (pic1) I’ve stood them up as well as I can (pic2), but looking at the previous cone debris in the verge (pic3) it’s only a matter of time before it’s hit again. This needs rectifying immediately before someone gets hurt, and/or serious damage to vehicles occurs!!!
