Markings severely worn, dangerous situation at Carperby, 17th May
At the road junction at the west end of Carperby, the Give Way markings have severely worn and are now virtually invisible. Due to the alignment of the terminating road at this junction, drivers can be easily misled into thinking they have priority when they don't and approach too quickly when turning right into Carperby. The Give Way markings should be repainted as a matter of urgency and a 'Give Way' sign put up also. This is a nasty incident waiting to happen with tourist traffic unfamiliar with the roads.

In October i walked along the PROW that cuts through the wood here. Next to the roadside, by the bridge I was horrified to see Japanese Knotweed growing. An invasive weed that should be controlled before it spreads.
