Large Pothole appeared where a previous repair has been done on near side of the road heading towards Northallerton., 12th December
The pothole appeared approximately 2 days ago and is significant in size and when full with water is completely invisible to the naked eye. When you drive over it (I couldn’t see it) there was an enormous ‘bang’ and the entire car shuddered. I am concerned that damage will occur to vehicles as it gets progressively worse.

More Potholes Appearing, 4th June
No matter how many times these potholes are filled in, more and more still appear. The problem is there is water running underneath the tarmac. This means when it freezes, lifts expands and cracks surface, causing more potholes. Until the running water is sorted out, this will continue to happen. There is no point in just filling in the holes. The entire road needs sorting out sooner rather than later.
