Rubbish and a large fridge in yard with gate broken, 24th August
Unsure if the property in Dent Street,Shildon is occupied but there is rubbish all over the yard and a large fridge on its side with gate broken and wide open. Not the first time this has happened,last time ended up with rats running around.

Four wheelie bins left outside full of rubbish constantly, 29th October
Four wheelie bins left on the pavement on the back road leading to other residential address, sometimes they are in the middle of the road and have to be moved by residents, rubbish is all over the road from the bins. Complaints have been made directly to 56 redworth road and to the council, now they are concrete bricks on top of the wheelie bins, which are very dangerous and have also been found in the road. This has been going on since a change of tenant two months ago, the land lord of the property needs to provide a correct backdoor gate, that allows the tenant to bring in there bins. It's just absolutely disgusting as children play in the park near by, also they are parking a white/red or a white van on the very corner, making the road a blind spot. It's only a matter of time before either the bins, concrete stones or van cause an accident. It's also making it difficult for people to buy/sell houses rent etc as it looks such an horrendous mess and if all residents left there bins out and there gates in such an awful way the area would depreciate in value.

The trees and bushes at the side of the road need cutting back. You cannot see traffic coming up from Bishop Auckland when you are trying to cross the road to the island.

Pothole in area where locals park cars, 3rd April
The pothole started in the winter before last (so over a year ago). It is in an area where people park their cars so there is activity all day. It is in the middle making it difficult to avoid as the space is narrow each side. So deep on one side that it is like going down a step in the car. Two winters have taken its toll on it. The road has other more minor pot holes also.

Rusty, perforated manhole cover, 11th April
There is a perforated and slightly cracked manhole cover, just before the rear entrance of a shared yard to a residential property. A car keeps running over it to park and I'm concerned this will give way at some point, quite soon. Please can the relevant authority inspect and replace this?

Numerous cars causing problems, 17th March
No 6 and no 3 have numerous cars coming and going, some untaxed, some for sale, parked on the road or on the grass. A car pick up trailer often blocks the road. Today the refuse collection was unable to get past to do their job. Car with no number plate still parked outside no 14. It is becoming more of a problem for residents parking their cars and being able to drive to or from their homes because of all these vehicles.

Problem with numerous cars, 2nd March
DU52 RNX abandoned? outside no 14 Cedar Grove DL4 2EH never moved since before Christmas adding to the problem of enough parking spaces for residents. Numerous cars always outside no 8 along to no 11, some untaxed and some parked on the drives of empty houses, as if some sort of car sales/valet business is going on in this supposed to be quiet residential street.
