Height of tree close to houses, 26th May
This tree is huge and very dangerous to passing people and vehicles.
The winter saw a few large branches fall that could easily have injured or killed someone. Some lower branches have been removed (bottom 3 meters) but it requires topping and reducing. If this tree fell it would destroy the nearest 2 houses.
This issue has been present years and will only get worse if never managed correctly

Roads need cleaning, 12th February
Roads are horrendous with leaves from the 10 Sycamore trees lining it. Surely these should have been cleared once the leaves had all dropped. Now all the kerbs are just compacted with leaves, covering all drains

White lines across cul-de-sacs, 21st June
Other estates in Hurworth have white lines across cul-de-sacs to indicate priority and who has right of way. I have had numerous incidents at the first cul-de-sac as residents and other vehicles race out on to the main estate road and there will be an accident. As I have previously reported this to DBC and nothing has been done, I expect they to accept responsibility when an accident happens

Pot hole in road length of driveway, 11th February
About 12 months ago a new concrete drive was laid, leading up to several houses and a farm. The drive is just off Roundhill Road between Mowbray And Westfield Drive. The road joining the drive is essentially one long pot hole, and we've already had to replace 2 tyres on our cars. Please can the council fill this hole in? Thanks

Potholes, flooding and very poor road surface, 13th May
Series of potholes on Strait Lane, including some that were supposedly repaired by DBC. Shoddy repair work has meant that the filling material is breaking up and coming out. Other potholes have never been fixed and fill up with water when it rains leading to excess surface run off and further deterioration of the road surface.
Major drainage issue outside the Birches just beyond the junction with Sanderson road leading to flooding. No repairs completed despite promises from Northumbrian Water and DBC.
