30 mph sign., 11th April
We currently have a 30mph sign at the entrance to our culdisac The Oaks. We get many cars and Van's thinking this is a through road to the estate behind . A request would be to either place a "No Through" sign or be removed completely, as the 30mph sign does not represent this residential culdisac .

It looks like a car has gone over the speed calming island and destroyed the safety bollards again. This creates an issue at night as here are now no reflectors to identify the island and could cause further accidents.

Street Works - Woolsington Drive (Update 11th October 2023), 11th October
Further to the reports and photographs posted on FixMyStreet on Monday 29th May 2023 and the updates of Sunday 4th June 2023, Friday 7th July 2023, Tuesday 15th August 2023 and today Wednesday 11th October 2023 it can be reported that:
1. The reinstatement around the newly installed manhole covers in Woolsington Drive which had subsided to a depth of around 2½ inches / 60mm has been ‘patch’ repaired (picture 1) 2. The square edges of the newly installed manhole covers in Woolsington Drive remain proud of the road surface by approximately 1 inch / 25mm (picture 2) 3. The grass verge at the bottom of Woolsington Drive that was dug up as part of the street works remains untouched and is now filled with weeds. 4. The trench that was dug into the footpath in Woolsington Drive from the Yarm Road roundabout, right up to the corner of Stansted Grove remains an eyesore (picture 3). 5. The situation on Woolsington Drive and Yarm Road roundabout which were both left littered with loose stones and chippings following the street works has been improved - the driver of a road sweeping vehicle that was operating close by was spoken to and he was asked if he would be happy to make a couple of passes over the areas concerned which to his credit he did.
