Glass on footpath near school, 31st January
There is a sheet of glass that has been on the footpath outside of this house for a couple of weeks now, it has become smashed.
This is the route to school for around 70%of the kids attending St George’s so could do with clearing before a kid falls on it

It looks like a car has gone over the speed calming island and destroyed the safety bollards again. This creates an issue at night as here are now no reflectors to identify the island and could cause further accidents.

Flooding, 30th October
Runoff from fields has washed away the edge of the road making dangerous deep ruts and rocks on the road. The dip at the brow of the hill is deeply flooded - the drains are constantly blocked by the grit used for amateur repairs to the road edges. The flood cannot be seen from Low Dinsdale side until road users are over the brow.

Street Works - Woolsington Drive (Update 11th October 2023), 11th October
Further to the reports and photographs posted on FixMyStreet on Monday 29th May 2023 and the updates of Sunday 4th June 2023, Friday 7th July 2023, Tuesday 15th August 2023 and today Wednesday 11th October 2023 it can be reported that:
1. The reinstatement around the newly installed manhole covers in Woolsington Drive which had subsided to a depth of around 2½ inches / 60mm has been ‘patch’ repaired (picture 1) 2. The square edges of the newly installed manhole covers in Woolsington Drive remain proud of the road surface by approximately 1 inch / 25mm (picture 2) 3. The grass verge at the bottom of Woolsington Drive that was dug up as part of the street works remains untouched and is now filled with weeds. 4. The trench that was dug into the footpath in Woolsington Drive from the Yarm Road roundabout, right up to the corner of Stansted Grove remains an eyesore (picture 3). 5. The situation on Woolsington Drive and Yarm Road roundabout which were both left littered with loose stones and chippings following the street works has been improved - the driver of a road sweeping vehicle that was operating close by was spoken to and he was asked if he would be happy to make a couple of passes over the areas concerned which to his credit he did.

Work on pothole repair, not completed, 5th September
Work began on the repair to the numerous potholes on low Dinsdale Road, but only one side of the road has been partially completed
The contractors marked out the potholes with white marker. The marks are still there, but the pothole repairs have not been completed.
The weather has been exceptionally fine. It’s important that the job is done ASAP

More new potholes opening up with the old ones, still not repaired, 15th August
The Low Dinsdale Road is now riddled with potholes that have still not been repaired. These are worse along the verges, which are getting chewed up by very heavy, multi axle vehicles. Urgent repair work is needed.

Main drain permanently blocked, 23rd July
This drain has been blocked for months the verges are disintegrating because of the heavy HGV usage on this road The resulting debris continues to block the drain
