Rats in old council yard Queen Street, 13th September
The disused land in Queen Street that was the old council yard has been left overgrown and as a result has become overrun with enormous rats which are running into the properties of neighbouring homes in Commercial Street Crook. The council should maintain this land in order to prevent this happening. The rats are well established and there are hundreds of them

Overgrown land, 24th July
I have reported this before and tried to work with the landowners (once located), however tenants have blocked anything from being done. I feel the land is an eyesore, but not only that is now at a cost to us as it is wrecking hedging that we have just spent hundreds of pounds planting.
This has been a problem for 12 years since we moved in and not only leads to overgrown weeds but also has rubbish dumped and possible rodent in-habitation.
The land being discussed is the narrow strip to the North Lane/Mount Pleasant and south of High Road. It is apparently owned by the residents of Mount Pleasant but as it is street lit I feel this is council adopted land, either way the council should be taking action.

Speed Humps, 31st May
The speed humps going down the bank are corroding on either side meaning that the hump is catching the underside of cars. The tarmac is broken up and soon may be impassible especially to emergency vehicles. Photo shows them on google earth. They are much worse than this now!

Littering, 29th December
White audi a1 reg number v10 emr sat in market place in crook with two blonde women sat inside at approx 20:25 on 29/12/2016.
Just as I was pulling away in my car two styrofoam cartens and other rubbish was dumped out of the door by one of the driver of the car.
I stopped, got out of my car and asked if they could put the rubbish in the bin. They said yes we will. I advised they that i will be reporting the incident.
I didn't have my camera so nipped home to get it and went back to the market place. The car was gone but the litter remained.
I have attached a photo of what was left.
Can the driver be fined/prosecuted for littering?
