Emptying of public bins, 10th June

Wed, 10 Jun 2009 13:46:30 +0100
54.7310034169531 -1.88434723050683

There are 2 public litter bins positioned adjacent to 11 rectory lane and out side 6 rectory lane. Due to the location they often become full in 24 to 48 hours. However they are usually emptied frequently. However they have not been emptied for in excess of a week, as such an increasinf ammount litter is being left on the ground and the bins are full. We have been picking up the litter for over a week now. Why are they not being emptied frequently as before?

Constant Dog Fouling, 1st April

Tue, 01 Apr 2008 11:18:33 +0100
54.7305864221113 -1.88390469154778

Since we have moved in the level of dog fouling in the village seems to have grown worse. People will particulalry let their dogs foul in front of drives and it creates an unbelievable mess. Also, there's so many small children around and for them alone I don't know why people just don't use carrier bags etc to clear it up. We want the Council to take some action, at the very least, send out a flyer to address and warn peopl that this is not acceptable.
