ISSUE: There are concerns regarding drug use and linked issues involving anti social behaviour linked to drug use and drug supply
ACTION: Officers have increased patrols in specific locations whilst also working closely to improve the quality and quantity of referrals to charities regarding vulnerable persons who suffer from substance misuse.
nnOfficers have issued CPWs and CPNs to those involved in drug use and supply

ISSUE: There are concerns regarding the number of thefts within Addiscombe West and the reasons for theft that occur and the ripple effect this has on the community
ACTION: There have been an increase in arrests for theft related offences and officers will be completing further events in relation to the recovery of stolen items such as catalytic converter marking events and phone marking events.
SNT officers are also working with stores to improve the quality of reporting of incidents and obtain evidential packages which can support prosecutions for theft offences
nnSNT officers also will be attending a number of venues to provide crime prevention advice whilst also working with schools to improve awareness regarding crime prevention advice for students
