25 metre stretch of road this is riddled with massive potholes., 24th April
The potholes have been here for months if not years. The council did try to 'patch' 1 or 2 of them last year - but as this was in the rain it soon swept away. The lane is becoming impassable. Please please do something about this.

Complete degredaion of highway on holders lane, 21st April
This problem has been on going for years. A series of extremely poor repairs has made no difference, in fact the carriageway is the worst it has ever been. Road is destroyed by constant outflow/dumping/channeling of water from adjacent fields directly onto the highway (probably illegally) causing an almost permanent 'river' of water on the road which has obviously caused the majority of issues.

Standing water blocked drains, 19th March
Standing water which has been reported several times and no one has come out to unblock the drains. This is now flooding my father in laws seller and also causing his garden water to fall down. Pedestrians are now walking across his garden grass so they don’t have to walk through the water. Thus is not acceptable and nothing has been done for months. We will be sending you an invoice to fix the garden wall.

There is quite a large pothole forming around a grid. As this is just after the bend you dodge to miss it and end up on the other side of the road.

Tree with branches hanging in to road, 12th November
I was driving along the A51 at about 6.30pm by which time it was dark. I drove past the above tree which i couldn't see until the last minute and thought I'd got past it but caught my car with the branches which stick out which can be seen on the picture. I now have scratches down the side of my car caused by this tree not being cleared off the carriageway properly. I think the tree has been there for a week or two but not sure.

Boundary, 28th June
Road in front of New house Farm and the Thistles is in Shropshire. See Ordinance Survey. The road is in need of repair. Both pay Council Tax to Shropshire!!! My next move is to contact my Counsellor!

Pot holes and road surface very bad., 8th June
Fix my street shows New House farm and the road in front as outside Shropshire. As a result requests to fix pot holes etc have been ignored. This is wrong. The county boundary includes New House Farm. They pay rates to Shropshire and their bins are emptied by Shropshire.

Road surface and pot holes., 8th June
Very large pot hole missed when recent work carried out. Likely to cause damaged alloys. Long stretch of this single track SHROPSHIRE road still pot holed and with surface washed away. Very difficult for low vehicles to negotiate.

Potholes along the track, 26th May
There is a number of potholes that have not been fixed, the workmen came today and they filled 4 tiny potholes. The road surface is almost down to gravel as the stream runs down the road. The potholes are 8 inches deep and nothing is being done. the last report states fixed but it is not fixed.

Road used by stream as drain blocked. Potholes repaired but have quickly appeared again. Difficult to use road without bottoming car. Unsatisfactory and short lived repairs over several years.

Potholes, 20th March
The pot holes on Aston Lane has been reported several times to you. But no action has been done, the potholes getting worse and more are appearing. This is a really dangerous to cars, cyclists and horses which use this road frequently. Can you also please tell me if we can make a claim to you for already damaged car due to potholes , which has happened in January, to cracked car wheel after going down one of the large potholes. as you can see you have had many complaints since November 2023. There will be many more accidents i'm sure if you do not rectify this problem on this road.
