Mature hedge removed, 17th April
Owner of number 10 Ashfurlong Close has removed a large mature hedge, bordering a footpath, and is replacing it with a six foot fence. This hedge should not have been removed because it is not their hedge, it was well established and has been removed during nesting season. Additionally, deeds for this area state no fencing in front of property.

Parking blocking pavement, 29th March
Parking of the blue SUV is across the whole path, meaning we had to walk our daughter in her pushchair into the road to get passed. The black hatchback also was mostly blocking the path after the SUV which we had to go onto the grass to get by.

Large stones on road, 20th March
The routes used by construction traffic including employee private vehicles leaving site are covered in large stones. HS2 compounds Waste Lane, Lavender Hall Lane etc. It’s hazardous to cyclists and pedestrians as well as damaging to vehicles.

Water flowing onto road, 20th March
Water has been running into the road for many months now. It was reported to STW on the 7th Feb, who responded with an engineer on site after 10hrs. They believe it is a blocked storm drain and reported it to the council as it is their responsibility. It is dangerous as it is on a bend in the road and incredibly hazardous with freezing temperatures.
