The hedge makes it impossible to fit two cars around this bend on bottom street, it’s been hanging in the road for months. Being on a corner if a vehicle comes the other way, you either scratch your vehicle or the other vehicle has to mount the pavement on the other side.

Brand new playpark has been closed for months, 17th January
Was closed due to mud caused by waterlogging. Mulberry Homes refuses to give timescales for fixing the issue and reopening the park. They will also not confirm if a RoSPA inspection has been carried out. Their own ground survey revealed drainage issues before they even built the park. Please force them to fix the park before February half term for the local children to make use of it.

Fly tipping, 22nd December
Chair been left here a week now. There was a skip in the street for the works the housing association was doing. Someone put this in the skip but the skip company removed it and refused to take it as the skip was overloaded.

Uneven dropped kerb on The Prebend, 8th December
Uneven dropped kerb outside the double gates. It’s been like this for a couple of years we think, since some work was done on the drains. We recently had some work done and were advised to report this to get it fixed. Also vehicles (large maintenance vehicles and vans during the day and cars and trucks overnight) regularly park in front of the gates preventing access despite there being a dropped kerb and it being illegal to park across a dropped kerb without the owner’s permission. Is there anything that can be done to make the dropped kerb clearer? Paint? Road marking? We have a sign on the gate stating access is required 24 hours a day.

Poor parking, 27th September
There is a 90 degree bend at the entrance to Temple Herdewyke. It is often the site for dangerous parking by, presumably, school traffic. Despite requests from the school, in various ways, over the years, it continues.
Today, there has been a collision at this location, due to poor parking choices made by several drivers. It appears that common sense and the highway code are insufficient to deter drivers from parking here. There is ample parking along the bay to the North of the school gate, or roadside further up where visibility is not compromised. It's not as close to the school, as the bend, though.
Please consider continuing the double yellow lines on the B4100, around the junction to cover this bend.
