Severely blocked culvert drain, causing sever damage to driveway coming off the A5 road into property. Culvert runs into a ditch at the side of the A5 which runs under the A5 Road. Debris and trees blocking the drainage., 22nd April
Water cannot pass through the culvert onto the river Avon due to debris, trees and mud causing flooding and drive surface damage. A clean up was arranged by yourselves in Feb 24, but cancelled. Clearing was then set for March 24, not completed. No contact since. The culvert has not been maintained by yourselves since 2018. This needs addressing. Thank you for your time.

Footpath obstruction, 16th April
There are a number of obstructions on the footpath along Higham Lane and these make it very difficult for Parents with pushchairs and people with disabilities. The footpaths are also very uneven because of all of the Tree roots ruining the footpath. Could this footpath along Higham Lane be assessed for DDA compliance please urgently.

Commercial Parking over pavement and too close to two junctions, 15th April
We are experiencing increased regular parking of upto 8 commercial vans and cars on the corner of Pallett Drive alongside the roundabout with St Nicolas Park and around the junction of the Pallett Drive Cul De Sac.
Not only are these vans parked on the pavement blocking access for pushchairs, mobility vehicles and others walking the street they are also causing issues navigating the exit and entry to the Pallett Drive cul de sac and navigation around the junction and corner of St Nicolas Park and Pallett Drive where visibility is blocked by the vans and also causing cars to blindly travel on the wrong side of the road at on coming traffic or traffic pulling out of the cul de sac.

Blocked drainage gully grid on public footpath, 12th April
The footpath tunnel under the West Coast Main Line at Wheat Street has a blocked water drain (Oasten Road side of the railway).
It needs cleaning out to allow effective water drainage to maintain wet weather accessibility for this public footpath.

Hole on public foot path, 29th March
There has and still is a current dangerous hole on a stone path way at the back of Abacus Nursery. This is highly unsafe and could and will cause serious harm if pedestrians/children do not see the hole in time or if it is dark and can not see the hole at all. If this does not get sorted asap and fixed because this could end up happening to a member of public in hospital due to the injury they will sustain due to the lack of safety and maintenance not being looked after properly.
This needs to be addressed and fixed immediately due to the high risk and danger.

Used cooking oil on road and pavement, 26th March
Over the past week there have been a number of rental vans which have been moving barrels of used cooking oil between then. At some point there has been a spillage and the path and road are now greasy and smells too. This is a hazard for cars and is right by the bus stop so hazardous for pedestrians too. The main spillage is on the corner of Ventnor Street by the bus stop. There is also a smaller spill on Carisbrooke too.

Damaged footpath railings, 16th March
Damaged footpath railings, that have been like this for months! This is a disgrace that it has not been fixed. The council is clearly aware of it as they can be the only ones to have put up the chapter 8 orange fencing!
