Several new 8 to 10 inch potholes, 17th January
So again the council came and filled a few in badly (some of these have failed not 4 weeks on) and others have opened up and some were not even filled in and missed. As a motorcycle rider they are right in the riding line and utterly dangerous. even in a car of van they are proper wheel damaging in size. This stretch needs a proper rethink and doing properly once and for all.

Numerous potholes the length of the road to its meeting with Denbighshire cc section begins near Maesafon, 28th November
These potholes ( too numerous to video/photograph ) stretching the length of the road from the Mold end to the boundary of Denbighshire have been there for more than 2+ years . Much of the road needs totally resurfacing before a tragic accident happens and before the winter. I contacted the council leader some months ago but to no avail. Each time I drive along the road I fear for my and others safety.

The entrance kerbstone is raised and loose with collection of water underneath, 27th March
This is the second time this has happened, I reported the problem last year, to no response. It is outside The Laurels, Ffordd y Pentre, Nercwys. The kerbstone has now cracked in half and raised and loose. It is a possible trip hazard as it is a walking route for schoolchildren. There is no footpath

Really dangerous broken surface!, 31st October
Potholes, gravel, a narrowed road (due to run-off debris) all in the dark shadow of a tree on a bend. Dangerous for cyclists (as it’s hard to see in the dark, believe me!) and the ARAF / SLOW marking has virtually been erased to boot. Has been like this for at least a year and is worsening. Please repair.

Deep Pot Hole, 16th February
Deep pothole approaching Nercwys from Treuddyn. Need to swerve it to avoid car damage which risks a collision with oncoming traffic.

Pot hole now impossible to drive around, 8th August
This pot hole has been getting worse over the last four months. It now extends into the road making it impossible to avoid and is deep enough to cause a cyclist a nasty accident.

Deep large potholes, 5th July
Several large pot holes on narrow bridge. Hard to avoid as they are in the shade and a hazzard to bikes as well. These have been filled before but nor repaired and have got worse

Rubbish bags dumped on top of hedges, 11th December
Rubbish has been left on the top of the hedge on each side of the road. just up the lane from the junction. Two tyres have also been dumped on the junction.

Very badly damaged road surface with pot holes, 10th December
The surface adjacent to the culvert has been in poor condition for a while and proper attention to pot holes and the surface is needed. This is a danger to cyclists and pedestrians as well as drivers are forced tio take up dangerous lines to avoid the ruts. I have reported this previously but no action has been taken.
