Traffic, 22nd October
Trying to get out of HIghmere Drive at 8.30am is becoming increasingly more dangerous by the week, hundreds of school/college kids blocking the view which is already extremely difficult to navigate vehicles coming round the bend, it's about time the council spent some of our council tax on actually doing something productive for a change

Careless parking, 21st August
Constantly congesting road and parking over pavements and drop curbs. Blocking access to pavements, properties and sometimes making it difficult to get into the road at all. Alot of these cars have spacious drive ways, however chose not to park on them. The road is a cul de sac and so can only be accessed by vehicles from one side meaning that when cars are parked blocking it all up its hard for residents to reach their homes as they can't get through. Like myself. On a few occasions I have been unable to get my car out at all and couldn't get to work. I have also witnessed a lady having to push her pushchair in the road due to not being able to use the pavement, and almost being hit by a reversing car who didn't see her.

Speed bumps increasing hazards, damaging vehicles, 25th January
After replacing 4 quality and expensive damaged tyres with bulges and punctures to the internal side walls over a period of 12 months, we sought advice from the manufacturers....
The side walls are being damaged by uneven and excessive compression to the inner walls. Deeside has a large number of square speed bumps; 15 pairs on Ffordd Llanarth alone! Even at very low speed (much lower than the speed limit), the sloping sides of these cause just this kind of uneven force and I believe they are the cause of the damage.
These traffic control items are a hazard, are damaging vehicles and negotiating them distracts drivers attention from other real surrounding hazards.
Please consider the damage and additional road hazards caused by this kind of "traffic calming" and remove them before they cause more damage, injuries and before vehicle owners recover costs of related damage from Flintshire.
