Lights on the bend are continually off at night, 24th January
The lights are off on the bend coming off junction 2 on the M53 north bound and has been like that for some time. The motorway is well lit until this point and then the lights stop when you reach the bend. This continues all the way round until you reach the next straight part of the road when it is lit again. It is so dark on the bend and is the area which needs to be the most lit. It is an accident waiting to happen. The same situation occurred a number of years back and I reported the issue. Unfortunately, an accident did occur and the next day, the lights were back on!

Plastic Tank With Fuel on the road, 15th September
Today Morning when I was driving through Moreton Road at the corner between the road The Woodlands and Moreton Road there was Plastic tank lying at the side of the road - obstructing the traffic. I stopped the the can at The Woodlands to remove the obstruction. By the time I reached the object another lady was trying to remove the Plastic tank from the road with her leg - in the process tank overturned and liquid started flowing through the cap. I immediately put back the tank in the upright position to stop the spillage. In the process some of the liquid contacted my hand - form the smell I understand it is some fuel in the tank, probably petrol. I moved the tank from the road and put in the pavement(at the corner between two roads). Since it is the inflammable liquid in the tank please make suitable arrangement to recover and dispose safely.

Litter, 13th April
There is a build up of litter between Junction 1 -4 of the M53. Residents have contacted me as a local green campaigner as they are concerned it is not being managed and gives a poor impression of our area as people travel toward New Brighton as tourists. Please can you advise how often the area is reviewed and maintained? Thank you.
