Speeding motorists, 6th January
Motorist constantly exceeded the 40mph speed limit along this stretch of road particularly from the primary school down to hollywell lane.
The council have been particularly negligent in their approach to numerous complaints on this issue and are currently relying on a recent speed monitoring device set outside the school for speed data which is situated at the brow of the hill and motorist are accelerating down the road so the speeds traveled at the school are not a true reflection of the average speeds on this road.
Something has to be done about this stretch of road particularly where dog walkers and children walk up and down the road to and from hollywell lane and the bus stop before a fatal accident occurs.

Pothole and rutted road surface particularly the speed warning top coating, 9th June
First reported in March 2015 and twice since . The only action has been to paint the pothole White. This relatively small area of damage is causing a significant amount of noise from lorries bouncing and crashing down again . Adjacent houses are rattling and shaking . This is exacerbated by the increase in traffic due to the redirected traffic from the delayed A55/A483 roadworks. Traffic speed is uncontrolled and and this dangerous blind hill crest and bend is likely to recreate the conditions to repeat the fatalities that have occurred at both ends of Clutton. Visits have been made by Highways Dept and progress queries result in contradictory reports. One reply is that work is scheduled and the other reply is that no work is required. Try living here!

Numerous deep potholes developed as a result of burst watermain last sept, 30th January
There are a series of deep potholes that have developed as a result of the burst watermain gushing down this road last september. The problem with the mains was left untouched for weeks, meanwhile the road was saturated by the continuous 24-hour running river from the watermain all the way down to Stretton Mill. This is mainly a single vehicle road with potholes on both sides.
