Frequent Flooding, 3rd November

Sun, 03 Nov 2019 20:41:34 +0000
53.112903 -2.781105

Is there anything that can be done about the flooding that occurs frequently on this lane? It floods pretty much any time there is period of heavy rain. Road closed signs then appear (largely ignored by local residents), normally after the worst of the flooding has gone. It seems like a lot of effort to 'close' the road so often and it's a very well used road so it feels like it would be worthwhile making a permanent solution.

Missing manhole cover, 19th November

Tue, 19 Nov 2013 15:02:51 +0000
53.125590635124 -2.77551464019774

Missing manhole cover at side of public pavement by hedge. This is very dangerous. Anyone walking at night could easily fall into it. I walk there most days. The hedge has been cut back and I think this may have exposed the hole as I didnt notice it yesterday afternoon.

Frog Lane, 3rd February

Sun, 03 Feb 2013 13:35:27 +0000
53.122688 -2.794567

The surface of Frog lane which is not only a bus route but also used by cars pedestrians and animals is badly broken up and has now large potholes several inches deep. Should a car hit some of these there could be considerable damage caused. Pedestrians could also be at risk of injury. Much of the damage is near the large bend after the Farm and before Russia Hall.
