Give Way Sign is obscured and White Paint gone, 18th September
The end of Barrow Lane is a give Way to Pool Lane. The Give Way sign (if there is one still) is obscured by bushes. The White lines on the road are worn away. On a bike we only realized at the last minute. In a car, with less visibility and more speed we would not have noticed until we went through the junction. This could kill someone - it needs fixing urgently. Thanks

Faded road markings and obstructed sign, 27th July
Hardly any vehicle respect the existing speed limit and this is not helped by the fading road markings and obstructed junction warning sign as per photos. We have had a few near misses whilst going in and out of our drive because drivers do not adhere to the current 30 mile an hour speed limit.

The hedge height on the field side of Gongar Lane is excessive in height, 12th August
The hedge height on the field side of Gongar Lane (parallel to houses 1-43) is excessive in height for the entire length of road. I would estimate it to be at least 6m (18ft) in height. But given that it sits on a bank of land already raised from the road level, it looks even taller.
The hedge is now that overgrown, that it looks like a row of closely packed trees rather than a hedge! It now overhangs where people walk and ride horses, it blocks the lovely views from all of the houses on Gongar Lane, and it makes the road look a mess and unkempt. All of the other hedges at the edges of roads in the area are kept relatively neat and of a reasonable height, so i don't understand why this hedge isn't.

Trees/Hedge Obstructing Path, 31st May
At the point shown on map (brow of hill on The Ridgeway) hedge/trees are obstructing the path to such an extent that it is difficult to walk on it.
This is the case for an individual. A mother with pram/pushchair would find it impossible, and be forced to walk in the road. This is made more dangerous by the fact that it is a blind bend, and drivers would not see them until last moment.
Clearly the hedge/trees require cutting back. It should be pointed out that they are not part of individuals houses, and therefore, i believe would come under remit of council to maintain?

a red car has been sitting here for months. It is difficult to drive up and down this stretch of the ridgeway with all the parked cars and this car is just causing more of a distruction. I think it has been here since about February or March.
