Small rubbish bags, 17th February
I have drove past this today and it looks like someone has littered or thrown away about 4 small rubbish bags full of rubbish. It looks like household waste. There is also a lot of other litter in the same part. Its on the right hand side and I know this part has had rubbish for ages now however only recently I have noticed the 4 rubbish bags.

Standing Water, 3rd January
Yesterday 2.1.24, I was travelling on the M53 and hit some standing water, thus caused my engine to lose power but luckily I reached the safety of a slight pull in on the hard shoulder, as I was also travelling with my daughter in law and young Grandson. My car had to be recovered by a recovery vehicle. The garage have informed me that my car has some serious mechanical damage. I am concerned about the amount of standing water at this area of the motorway. Today I passed the same spot and saw another car in the same break down spot as me with its hazards on and dark smoke under the car, suggesting it too could have some mechanical damage. I think this area of road needs looking at as we appear to be getting more prolonged and heavy rainfall and I don't want others to suffer as I am. It could also cause a serious accident.

Standing water, 14th August
When raining there is standing water / running water on the southbound carriageway of M53. It is very dangerous and I have seen many cars hitting it at speed and have experienced water-planing despite driving sensibly for the general conditions. There will be an accident here at some point soon

M53 Southbound - Excessive Standing Water, 5th August
Water builds in this location heading southbound on the M53 when it rains, this is excessive compared to other parts of the carriageway and I have seen many near misses. This is just before the slip road from the M56 joins the M53 heading towards Chester. The water is likely to cause aquaplaning, harsh braking and obscured vision and splashes on to the northbound carriageway also. Drainage must be blocked or lacking to cause this as it stands out in this place compared to the rest of the carriageway in the rain and happens every time there is any prolonged period of rain.

M53, Jct 11 just after slip road from M56, 5th May
Series of large potholes on lane 1 on M53 Northbound at Jct 11 after slip road joining M53 from M56.
The potholes are very hard to avoid especially if you are moving onto the M53 from the M56. You are looking behind you to join the M53 lane as well as trying to avoid the potholes at the same time, as well as taking into consideration people moving lanes to get to Cheshire Oaks, so is very dangerous.
