2 large potholes, 22nd March
All along the Braxted Park Road there are large potholes, however, just before the turning into Priory Road there are 2 very large potholes that people have to drive around in order not to damage their cars. This has now become increasingly more dangerous and the potholes are becoming larger and larger.

Uprooted trees and bushes partiallh blocking Goat Lodge Road, 15th January
These were blown into the road during the recent storms. Local residents have made the road passable but 30% of the road is still blocked. Represents a hazard at night.

Black ice on Braxted Park Road, 7th January
The top end of Braxted Park Road towards the Maldon Road in Tiptree has become extremely hazardous. The adjacent fields seem to be draining directly onto the road as the road has been wet for several months. Now that the temperature is dropping, the water has turned to black ice and is extremely slippery. I slid on it this morning as did my wife (luckily both managed to stay on the carriageway). I don't think gritting it will help due to the quantity of water (it would simply wash away) so could something be done to prevent so much water getting onto the road from the surrounding land (better drainage for the road or preventative measures by the landowner (a ditch along the boundary of the field?)).

Very deep wide pothole on a tight bend, 14th December
This pothole has been there for a while and got bigger. It’s now been reported a few times in the last week. No actions have been made to make drivers aware. I now have a puncture as I had to move over for a larger vehicle coming in the opposite direction, it was dark and the home was also full of rain water so couldn’t see the depth

Drop kerb damage, 11th December
Drop kerb to my property has been loosened following the last lot of work carried out by a company either impring water, eletic or telephone cables I think) essarlier in the year. The right-hand end concrete kerb has become loose and has become raised. Apart from anything else, tihs is a hazard to pedestrians who use this road positi9on to cross the roaed because of a dangersou bend and speeding motorists.

Crossing Road Marking, 15th May
I have reported this before about the crossing in Great Totham (Main Road near corner shop) is used a lot and is a busy crossing families, children and the elderly and the markings on the road and poles for this crossing point are none existence. I have seen 3 near misses of cars speeding and drivers not being able to see that crossing and those wanting to cross. My wife has nearly been hit twice. The lamp was replace a while back when I reported it along with the state of the crossing road and pole markings. If not sorted somebody will soon be injured or killed at this crossing

Road surface extensively damaged, encouraging motorists to veer round the issue on the wrong side of the road., 19th July
The damage to this part of the road is extensive and has been in the current state for many months. Motorists either run the risk of damaging their vehicle by driving over it or take the dangerous manoeuvr of veering round the damage on the wrong side of the road.
