Manhole cover surround collapsing, 1st March
The area around the manhole cover has collapsed, there are sharp edges all around, the cover bangs as you drive over it. It's very hard to avoid and will damage vehicles

Cadent roadworks equipment causing obstruction CM95JE, 1st March
Cadent have put a large storage container at the entrance to Fitch's Crescent, in the road. When trying to exit Fitch's Crescent onto Park Drive, the container is completely blocking any views of oncoming traffic. You have to begin pulling out onto the road before you can past it. This is extremely dangerous, and there will be an accident soon. As these works are listed as continuing until May, the container needs to be moved so it doesn't obscure drivers view when exiting Fitch's Crescent asap.

Drainage issue to footpath is causing water damage to Grade II listed building, 9th January
Information below has been taken from a building survey undertaken;
Externally the front elevation abuts the back of the public footpath. A PPC open drainage channel is provided in this location to accept surface water from the public footpath which falls towards the front elevation of the building. The open drainage channel drains falls towards a road gulley some 500m away, however the section in front of the entrance door is at a visible low point which causes ponding.
Unfortunately given the listed status of the building remedial actions to the building are extremely limited, we would therefore suggest that there is dialogue with the Local Authority Highways Department to explore if there is scope to remedy the ponding experienced to the public footpath.

Street lamp not working Lambourne Grove end of walkway connecting to Courtland Place Maldon, 6th December
From Courtland Place Maldon CM96YD opposite number 15 there is a long walkway with garden fences either side, a street lamp about 15ft into beginning of the walkway from Courtland Place end of it and then a street lamp right at the other end of it in the Lambourne Grove part, that street lamp at that end has been out for a while now and that walkway is pitch black as you walk down it. The provided photo was taken around 6pm on 06/12/2023 from Courtland Place end looking down towards Lambourne Grove end and thats how dark it is looking from the lamplit end, you need a torch to walk down it as the pavement is cracked and badly uneven in places in daylight let alone in the pitch black that it is now. Please get the Lambourne Grove end of this walkway lit back up again as its very daunting walking through that long walkway the way it is at the moment.

Pothole, approx 18 inches wide, 5 inches deep., 24th November
This pothole has been here for approx 3 months and is getting bigger. It has been reported, but hasn't been investigated yet. It can't be avoided due to residents cars parked on the other side of the road. It will cause serious damage to vehicles soon

Streetlight not working, 24th November
This light was first reported over a year ago when it started flickering every time it rained. It wasn't fixed, and then stopped coming on at all. It was reported again. Still not fixed.

Large pothole 15 inches long 8 inch wide, 29th August
It’s been there for 2 months, and has caused my wife tyre to blow out . It is on a roundabout coming out of the supermarket, on a busy rd and is very hard to miss when you come out of the supermarket
