As there are no drains on this part of the road when it rains all the water comes down into my drive, it has flooded my house last year and now my drive is full of weeds and grass as all the seeds come down in the rain, please can you let me know what you can do about the problem. Many thanks

Edge of road dangerous, 20th June
The road is too narrow for two cars to pass and so if one of the cars has to move off the road they fall off the edge of the road. It is particularly worse now as the grasses have grown up and visibility along this stretch of road is very poor.

Street light, 22nd February
I reported this back in Oct/Nov time and it has still not been fixed. As you can see it is pitch black and can be quite dangerous. I use crutches or wheelchair coming and going and try to avoid accidents

5 Car tyres in one weekend, 21st February
Large pothole that has claimed 5 tyres over the weekend, those were only posted on Finchingfield Facebook page so there would've been several more no doubt!

Street light out in Pulford Place., 4th November
The council had been round and put a light bulb in a couple of months ago and already and already it is not working. It is the lampost outside number 10.

This road has been wet all day every day for months, clearly visible running water on dry days.

Vehicle fire damage., 25th November
Stolen milk-float abandoned and set ablaze recently. Road surface burned; melted metal and plastic fused with road; broken glass also fused. Forsty weather will probably loosen this. Area needs resurfacing. Location close to local Primary School.

Sharp Pothole, 14th July
Sharp hole in road, exceptionally dangerous to cyclists due to position in road. On Saturday 12th July this was responsible for one fractured wrist for one person, some bruises on another person, one person broke their bicycle frame, a friend buckled his wheel and many many people got punctures (I got two). I wish to name it the Pothole-of-Doom.

Pothole, 22nd March
Located just before B & T Motor salvage near Duck End. Just left of centre of road travelling towards Dunmow. Approx 50 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm deep. Traffic swerving to avoid and friend has just wrecked an alloy wheel. There is another slightly smaller pothole just north of this location on opposite side of road.
