Metal drain covers sticking out dangerously, 21st May
This goes back to roughly 3 weeks ago. I was going toward Chipping Ongar on the A113 on my bike. I had a car in front of me and went through the bit where they were resurfacing the road. There were at least two drain covers sticking out the ground by at least a few inches. I hit one of them and done the handlebar bearings on my bike. Been to the garage today and the amount of money for the damage came up to almost £300. I find unreasonable the fact that drain get left sticking out the way they do, as they clearly cause accident and/or severe damages to people’s vehicles. Regards, Daniel
