Work is currently being conducted to repair this byway however the hardcore being used contains a large amount of plastic waste and other materials that is contaminating the local environment. The waste is also being covered over by the surface topping that the people repairing the byway are laying

Drains need checking, 29th January
Although we get floods in this area quiet a lot but the drains need to be either cleaned out or need to be changed as this is causing a problem as we have to walk through water to get to our cars and we have arthritis this has being going on for about 2 years now and we are struggling to even walk at the momment

Severe flooding, 28th October
This area has flooded for 2 years, I have reported it on two occasions and no one has evidently considered it bad enough to repair. This morning where cars had gone through the two large puddles a film of spray was on the road for about 100 feet and in the frost it was icy and a hazard for cyclists and motorcyclists. I intend to put this on a forum so that if there is any accident caused as a result of this continued problem action can be taken against the relevant authority.

Serious Flooding problem near corner, 7th February
This flooding issue has been in existence for approx. 18 months. I reported the problem a year ago and nothing was done. I thought that the problem had been sorted out but the rain on Monday has brought the flooding back worse than ever. it is currently right across the road and if it freezes overnight there will be a serious accident. I am aware of a cyclist falling on the ice last Sunday, luckily without serious injury - the next accident could be far more serious.

Serious flooding issue., 7th January
The road is flooded right across the road and as traffic goes through the flood the road is wet for 100 yards in all three directions. The issue is still existing and it has not rained for the last 10 days. Cyclists need to swerve to the other side of the road and if the temperature drops to zero it will be like a skating rink. I reported the same issue last year but Essex Highways have still not cleared the problem.

Road blocked, 18th January
Large piles of rubble, metal, soil and glass dumped into middle of road. One can had already crashed after colliding with the southern most pile.

Deep Potholes, 6th March
THERE ARE THREE deep potholes where the edge of Bird's Green Lane has collapsed. Please don't fix just one! They are placed around the one I have marked on this report, all on the west side of the road. Each - if you hit it - would puncture a tyre.
