Series of potholes, 28th January
There are a number of potholes in the inside lane of the A130 southbound between Howe Green and the Rettendon Turnpike turning. They are approximately two car lengths long. When driving over them it feels like you've gone off road!

Road is collapsing into the ditch folllowing the recent flooding. There is a real danger to both vehicles and pedestrians, 15th January
The curbs have been degrading for some time. However this last period of bad weather the road is now degrading much faster with the edges and curb stones now obstructing the ditches further aggregating the situation.

Flooding, 22nd February
Flooding at this spot has been continuous all winter. The reason is the pipe under the road and the manhole in the road are blocked solid with soil and debris resulting in a permanent pond covering the entire width of the road which is highly dangerous especially if there is any freezing. Also the runoff from this flooding is flowing into my field leaving it waterlogged, please can you ring me on 07947312389 so as to get this problem sorted other wise I will be taking the council to the small claims court seeking damages which my solicitor thinks will be in the region of £3000 to £4000 depending on how long this flooding continues. I am more than happy to meet one of your engineers on site to help sort out this unacceptable issue. Please ring me at 10AM on 24th February.

Leylandai Hedge is hanging over the very narrow pavement, 7th March
This Leylandai hedge which is overhanging the very narrow pavement by at least 1 metre on this corner in Church Road is dangerous as pushing a pram I had to move off pavement onto the road because of this overhanging Leylandi hedge endangering mine and my babies life.

Recent Pot Hole repairs have caused damage on the other side of the road., 25th November
Because half of the carriageway was blocked to effect repairs a Stop/Go traffic system was used to control all traffic which had to pass the repair site on the remaining narrow carriageway. The effect of this with the large vehicles which were know to use the road was to cause further damage and create deep ruts where none previously existed. Is the Contractor responsible for the necessary repair or do you have to pay them again to repair damage which should never have been caused.

Edge of road fallen away, 19th August
Large chunk of road fallen away to leave a VERY sharp edge right on a blind bend, i have experienced the damage it can do by slicing the inside wall of my tyre having to move over for large oncoming vehicle.
