There are at least three potholes on the roundabout of the junction with the southbound carriageway of the A12 and Stock Road. They are I a position that cannot be seen by any vulnerable road users, for example motorcycles, and are of significant depth. If a motorcyclist were to hit one of these, even at low speeds, there is significant risk of serious injury due to its location and lack of vision. Further to this the location is a busy junction due to the exit and entry to the A12

Large pot hole hidden under water, width of tyre with flat face, 6th March
Pot hole is hidden under water for the most part. We blew both tyres and alloys and had to call recovery. 2 cars hit the same hole and needed assistance while we were waiting for the recovery vehicle.

Massive pothole in road with loose, unsecured drain cover, 4th March
The pothole has been there all winter. There is also a drain cover that completely loose placed on top the blocked drain. You could hear loud "thud" and "bang" sounds as each car goes over it. We can only imagine the amount of damage this is currently causing to people's vehicle suspensions and wheels! Please rectify as soon as possible, before an accident is caused. Thanks.

6 inch potholes, 26th October
This road has been left in serious disrepair for a long time. I’ve witnessed numerous drivers damage the underside of their vehicles while pulling over to let another vehicle pass. It’s not wide enough so drivers have made their own pull overs. I live next door to this road and have heard the horns sounding all the way down, arguments get quite vocal at times. It really should be made one way from Ship Road to West Hanningfield Road. There was another accident last week. The local young driver involved has thousands of pounds of damage done. He can’t afford to claim on insurance as it will push his policy up. He’s had to take out a loan. It’s used as a rat run by companies in the Baddow Park industrial park & the JW’s. I’ve seen transits towing trailers in convoy on this road. Nowhere for drivers going the opposite direction to go so have to reverse all the way back down and around blind bends. It’s just a matter of time before something serious happens. Please, I implore you, to look at this road before someone is seriously hurt or worse.

Terrible litter along A12, 17th February
Once again complete neglect from authorities has led to horrendous levels of litter along the A12. Council should be ashamed of itself. A disgrace. Please can this be tidied up and made a more regular part of the duties of the litter team? Surely seeing lots of litter only reinforces the view ‘everyone else is doing it, so why can’t I?’

The halogen street light outside 12 Pyne Gate is dim. All others in this street have been replaced by the team dealing with difficult access. There are no access issues with the light at the junction of Pyne Gate and Colvin Chase.

Littering by Waste-a-way lorry, 24th October
Hi there,
I was driving behind one of Waste-a-Way's waste lorries today, reg GJ67 RWM, between 1 and 2pm, on the A12 between Colchester and Chelmsford. Here's the link to their business.

I saw large bits of plastic regularly (every 30 seconds or so) flying out of the top of the vehicle while we drove behind it. This littered the whole carriageway. Appalling. Why was the top of the lorry not properly covered to prevent this? Please act to sort this out immediately.

4 panels of fencing has collapsed on to the rear access road, 2nd March
During the last storm, four panels of fencing were blown on to the rear access road to Houblon Drive. This is making access to the garages difficult.
