Two foot diameter pothole at traffic lights on Grove Hill, 12th April
First noticed small pothole a few weeks ago on Grove Hill, in line with traffic lights as you go downhill, but has been getting bigger to now be an estimated two foot diameter.

Water pouring out of drain and has worn road surface, 25th March
Water is crystal clear which suggests coming from water mains. Affinty Water have said not their problem! Leak ID 82739. Water has worn road surface and uncovered drain which is causing many tyre problems on cars. and nearly making road unusable. This is a repeat of an earlier problem with exactly the same drain approximately 6 months ago

Deep pothole, 24th March
Very few pothole located just by the lights at the bottom of hill. Affects all those going up the hill and all cars have to swerve to save their tyres. It’s getting worse over the last few weeks and needs urgently filling.

Blocked storm drain, 17th March
This storm drain has been blocked for months. Anytime it rains it causes significant flooding on Church road.

Damaged Post and Rail Across Pathway, 17th March
The staggered post and rail across the pathway has been destroyed. This is adjacent to a busy road and provides for a barrier to stop children and cyclists from exiting into the path of road traffic on Church Road too quickly. See picture marked "prior to damage" where you will see the post and rail in place from a few weeks before the damage. This damage was caused approximately 3-4 weeks ago.

A large pothole just after the exit from the round-a-bout that damaged my tire, put me and other drivers in danger., 16th March
I was returning from Stansted Airport and hit this pothole, damaged my tire, could not control my car, had a serious damage to my car, put myself and other drivers in danger. Could not stop anywhere safely to see what the damage is until Tesco Superstore. Suffered stress, anxiety and significant cost to repair my new car

12in pothole on corner of roundabout turning on to Bishops Stortford bypass from the Stansted Road causing vehicles to swerve violently to miss it and avoid damage to wheels, 9th March
To avoid this pothole drivers are having to serve after coming off the roundabout bringing them close to oncoming traffic

Drain cover missing on A120, 8th March
There is a drain cover missing on the road leading to the A120 bypass on the first left turning off the B1383 roundabout in Bishop's Stortford. I drove on this road yesterday 07/03/24 on a driving lesson and was unable to avoid it due to traffic in the oncoming lane meaning I could not swerve; this has caused serious damage to the wishbone of the car, the instructor is having to have the wishbone repaired and wheel replaced as a result. I am unaware of how long this issue has existed, but I don't believe the drain was uncovered last Thursday 29/02/24.
