Lorries damaging verge between road and hedge where no kerb, 27th March
The kerb does not extend along the verge so lorries drive over the verge. I am 61 and maintain the hedge and verge which allows drivers to see oncoming traffic before its too late. The verge is being eroded away and will make it unsafe for me when I work on the hedge. I did my best to repair the verge as shown in the 3rd photo but I had to cone off the road and it took all morning. I have seen a specialist about my back and this much work is too much for me. Please would it be possible to extend the kerb in front of my property to protect me when keeping the verge clear for drivers..
