There are 8 large potholes all the way down, 23rd February
The pot holes are getting bigger, some are atleast 2 foot in diameter. They were fixed last year but whatever they used has washed away and they are worse than before. They are all the way down Queens Road

A previously patched sinkhole (not just a pothole) is now sinking again, 23rd February
A previously patched sinkhole (not just a pothole) is now sinking again, about 5-6 inches currently, the patch has also broken at the seams and water is pouring out of it from underneath, this is going to speed up the sinking as it will wash away whatever is left holding it sort of yp, it’s going to go completely very very soon. It narrows the road to an extent that any large vans or Lorrie’s, or I suspect emergency vehicles will not be able to pass, further, in the dark, some is going to hit it and wipeout not just a tyre but probably the entire wheel or axle. Finally, there is a lot of runners and cyclists, if they do not see it in the dark (there is no lighting) there could be a nasty accident.

Streetlight shining into my bedroom, 17th February
The streetlight outside 66 High Street is shining directly into my bedroom and needs a deflector fitting to prevent it. It has deflectors fitted to the sides but the light is shining out of the back of the light which is only 6 feet from my bedroom window.

Massive pothole at least 6 inches deep., 17th November
This pothole has been there for a couple of years and is steadily getting worse. When it rains you can’t see it as it fills up with water. Made worse as the bushes in this section of road have not been maintained and the carriageway has been squeezed.

Lamppost not working, 10th November
This light had not worked since before covid. It is on Maldon district council as a known fault. It makes the road very dark and uncomfortable to walk past.

Blocked drains in main road, 10th November
Every time it rains the water does not go into the drains and ends up along the road where it overflows the kerb { which is non existent } and floods my property creating a moat around my house this has been reported several times and the system always states work scheduled. however this is causing damage to my property

A sinkhole was repaired here about a year ago, it is now sinking again, 8th August
It’s sunk a fair bit in the last 5 days, last time it went for on that to a 2-3ft deep hole in 48hrs so it is clearly eroding again.

Pot hole, 13th July
This is the main road into Burnham on Crouch, the pot hole has been outside the Dan Shiri restaurant for months and months. Shortly the road will be closed for work a few metres along for new housing...please get this fixed at the same time. Common sense MUST prevail please !!!

2 Ffor x 14 inch pothole just beyond the Dhan Siri curry house in Nakdon Road, 3rd June
This pothole has been getting bigger and bigger as very large lorries going to and from Burnham Waters construction site. The weight of these vehicles makes the damage even greater.

Deep pothole just outside the Oyster Smack in, just before zebra crossing, 15th April
Pothole is in centre of street. Not sure exactly how long, might be be weeks.
Due to cars parked on side of street, it sometimes forces drivers side wheels right into path of the pothole as they move to avoid parked cars.
The hole is about a tire width in size and the sheer depth of it has unfortunately resulted in bad damage to the front driver side suspension on my vehicle.
