Damaged curb causing flooding, 28th March
Since new tarmac has been laid this has raised the level of the road, and the curb is barely negligible. At one point the curb is broken and water is running off the highway causing flooding in a carpark for a village hall. This flooding has only happened since the road has been resurfaced.

Blocked drain, causing flooding on private road, 17th March
1. Low profile of curb on edge of road A6071 from Longtown to Brampton at Newtown at entrance to private road to village hall. Nearest the hill to Brampton.
2. Blocked drain causing water to run over shallow curb on to private road causing flooding.

Car trailer reg no DH65ADU loaded with white vauxhall OV14XRB left for days blocking footpath outside 19 Townfoot Park, Brampton, 17th May
Abandoned for a few days unattended or moved, blocking public footpath. Left by occupant of 16 Townfoot Park who leaves up to four cars at times on that and opposite footpath. Beginning to appear to be a car trading business on a residential estate.

Dayburning Lamp, 8th February
Lampost attached to the police station on Longtown Road, Brampton is Dayburning.
Lamp is a Sox fitting that has been retrofitted with an led lamp. It still seems to retain the old two part photocell that is probably not suited to the capacative load that is created by LED lamps. It might be worth bearing this in mind when retrofitting similar lamps and changing the cell to a modern type at the same time to avoid revisitation to converted dayburners. It may be worth bringing this to the attention of the lighting engineer. It's easily overlooked that can end up costing a few Bob.

This driver persistently parks on the double yellow lines this photo taken today at 14.22 17/5/21.no driver in the vehicle as she works in the school. These double yellow lines were placed to stop accidents and dangerous parking.

STOP line completely worn away - accident narrowly averted, 2nd June
I did an emergency stop because a vehicle emerging from this junction did not stop at the line. This was because the line in front of all drivers turning right has completely worn away. The incident was immediately reported to the police.

Street Lamp out, 19th January
Lamp post No. 3 in Longtown Road at the junction with Beck Riggs, has been out for weeks. Despite letters and phone calls by a local resident the Authority has failed to rectify the problem to date.
