At this location the road is flooded for greater than a week at a time making it impassable. This isn't 6 hrs of surface runoff after heavy rain, this is virtually a ford. The road becomes unusable until it drains away, taking 7-10 days or longer in periods of sustained rain. Proper drainage for the sealed/tarmac surface is needed as it will surely degrade much faster.

Fly tip in woodland, 18th November
Beside the Parking lay-by on the south side of the A69, roughly at the point indicated, there is a significant amount of fly tipped material. Heartbreaking to see woodland treated this way.

Loose gravel on blind corner at Farlam, 27th July
This gravel has washed down the road and is now sitting on a blind corner. I keep pushing it into the side but when it comes onto road it is hazardous for vehicles stopping for other vehicles or people.

Roads covered in thick mud after heavy rain, 5th July
After heavy rain there has been a mud slide down Tarn Road and in to the entrance of Hemblesgate Court. Tarn Road is covered in mud and the entrance to Hemblesgate Court is covered in 150mm thick mud / debris. It is suspected that the source of the problem is a newly ploughed field approx 200 metres on the left hand side of the road in the direction of Castle Carrock. Took photo's but cannot attach them. Please treat this as an urgent enquiry.

Cones & signs indicating single road put in place over a month ago but there has been no sign of workmen or what is wrong with the road, 19th October
The cones and priority signs appeared well over a month ago but there does not appear to be anything wrong with the road and despite using this road x 4 per day, I have ner seen a workman. No one seems to know what the problem is. Have these cones been put in the wrong place?

Missing Street light, 29th March
There is a missing street light on Paving Brow, opposite The Larches. It has not been working for 6 months through the last winter and is a Safety hazard for the numerous people who walk up and down Paving Brow. It has been reported to the Parish Council but nothing has been done.

15 Inch Pothole plus some smaller ones circa 4 to 5 inches, 29th March
