Manhole cover fell into man hole, 31st May
There is a manhole in the grass by the roundabout. The manhole cover has fallen in. It's a large manhole hidden in the grass. If someone cycles over it or walks over it at night when it's dark they will fall in.

Large potholes, 10th January
There are large potholes developing on both sides of the road along the whole stretch. These potholes are in the normal line for vehicle wheels and will end up causing vehicle damage.

Roundabout on the A689 at Moorhouse road B5307. Large potholes several meters long around the centre of the carriageway. Front passenger side alloy wheel and tyre damaged on hitting pothole. Advised to change tyre and get alloy checked for further damage., 25th February
The potholes shown caused the damage to wheel and tyre . Potholes have been present for some time and when busy it is literally impossible to avoid them. Further photographs of damage are available if required.

Line in middle of the road rubbed off, 20th July
The white line in the middle of the road has worn off and drivers come into the village at speed from carlisle direction cutting the corner encroaching the other side of the road If the line was replaced at least traffic would hopefully stick to the correct side of the road before there’s a major accident

Very large pothole on the approach to a sharp corner, 22nd February
This pothole has buckled the passenger side wheel . I visited a friend last Thursday 15th February and she did warn me about this pothole so it must have been there a while .I understand the problem was addressed this week as i don't think i was the only person to be affected.
