There is roadworks, SB on M6 Near to 480.7B. There is a whole section down to 2 lanes, and 40 mph zone. The hardshoulder is being used. There is so many deep potholes in this lane

M6 southbound middle lane., 1st April
Looks to be a pot hole. Someone in middle lane drove through it and it threw something (grit, stones?) up at our windscreen.

Fence blown down, 27th March
Fence alongside the M6 motorway blown down. 200yrds north of Intack Bridge (Accessible dron the Wreay to southwaite road 300yrds from Intack farm) A section of the fence was replaced appropriately 2 month ago however following storm Isha another section blew down.

Fence blown down, 5th February
Fence that runs alongside M6 Motorway approx 300yrds North of Intack farm has blown down following storm Isha. A section of this fence was replaced 3 week ago however following the storm another 20ft section has since been flattened. This needs refenced ASAP to prevent livestock entering the M6.

Broken fencing, 26th January
Wooden fencing that runs along M6 Motorway blown down following storm Isha 300yrds North of intack farm. Parts if this fence was replaced 2 week ago however another section has now blown down.

Large, deep pothole in lane 1, inside wheel track., 10th July
Hit this last night. Destroyed rear passenger side tyre. Damage to alloy wheel as yet unknown as is damage as yet unknown to front passenger side tyre and alloy.

Deep potholes. Approx 6 . Dangerous!!, 17th January
These potholes have been here for about 6 months at least. They are right across the road. Anyone on a motorcycle will be killed instantly. Seriously threat to life. Extremely dangerous. ??

Two approx 10 inch potholes on the single track road, there is no way to avoid them without mounting the grass/ditch, 8th January
Potholes are getting worse, i now have to avoid this route adding extra miles to my journey. Pothole caused a large puncture in my front tyre with damage to the wheel and exhaust.

Large potholes on inside of dangerous bend outside High Burnthwaite Cottages., 19th December
This is a dangerous bend at any time. Cars travelling towards Carlisle have to keep close into edge of bend to avoid oncoming cars on outside of bend. Enlarging potholes on innerside are now causing vehicles to move over to avoid falling into potholes and there is imminent risk of a head-on collision. If they fall into the potholes to avoid a wide vehicle, council may find itself liable to a claim for compensation.

Drains on road blocked .....garden flooding, 6th June
Drainsx2 blocked causing flash food. Danger to traffic. Flooding my property. Drain covers covered with silt and are no longer visible. There will be road accidents if not repaired. This problem as been ongoing for many years, causing all feeder drains to blocked . Thus flooding my garden. Please come and look and see what can be done. Regards ....john.miller.longrigg@gmail.com

The sign on the corner is twisted wrong way, 29th October
The sign on the corner is twisted wrong way,from Calthwaite direction, when you approach the sign, it points straight on the 'Crown Inn' when it should point left.Obviously, the other direction signs on the same post are also pointing wrong way.Been like it for a few months.Seems like it has been hit by a tall vehicle or tractor.

Dangerous pothole just after bend, 19th September
This pothole is growing bigger and is dangerous. Situated just after bend so that difficult to avoid. Often full of water making it hard to see. Someone is going to damage their car or motorbike on it. Been there a while too.

Cat 1 pothole - Cumbria CC, 15th October
On the east side channel of the road approx 300m north of the Crown Inn there is a large Cat 1 pothole (approx 1m2) that is filled with water so the depth and extent cant be seen that needs to be protected then fixed asap

Lots of potholes, 11th February
There are a lot of potholes some large from here along to Red Cat House at the end.
One large one has been half filled but not repaired well at all. It is a danger to try and avoid them now There is a strip right across the road that is really uneven and holy and needs something done about it.
