Very poor roadwork layout/visibility of lane closure, 26th January
Tonight lanes two and three closed with lane one moving onto hard shoulder. Cones were not lit and dirty resulting in cone sleeve light reflection being non existant. Also cones in temp closure are all iver the place and many have been hit. At end of hard shoulder use there is no direction back onto main carriageway just the temporary cones between hard shoulder and lane one end. Very dangerous setup and have bever seen anything like this. This is part of the roadworks to replace the central reservation barrier.

Positioning of illegal moveable advertising boards, 1st August
A large temporary pyramid style bill board has been placed on the west bound side of the A689 with the roundabout at Linstock leading to the B624. The roundabout is a current problem area due to the level of traffic failing to give way adequately, to joining traffic. The advertising bill board is a distraction and its position is hazardous as it obstructs clear vision approaching from Carlisle on the B624. It does not appear to have approval for the positioning of the site!

Tree down on the Shared Foot/Cycle/wheeling path, 23rd June
Tree down on the Shared Foot/Cycle path behind Morrisons supermarket. The Tree is blocking sight-lines and near the entry/exit. The whole of the path here needs to be trimmed back as the bushes and trees are overhanging/overgrowing the pathway making it difficult for people to pass each other with trolleys/bags/prams/bicycles etc.

4 Large plastic tubs in the middle lane between Jct 44 and 43 southbound, 25th August
Between jct 44 and 43 southbound there are 4 large plastic rubble tubs in the middle lane of the M6 many cars are having to swerve round if possible or slam breaks on till it’s safe to move to the next lane

Numerous trees branches overgrown, 30th June
Numerous trees and branches over grown restricting access for wagons and tractors This used to carry two way traffic and is a popular pedestrian area so the risk to members of the public being hit by falling branches is high we farm the land at the end of the lane and are encountering problems every time we use the lane as we have to use the centre of the road to limit impact and damage to our vehicles, as you can see by the picture the lane is not passable in its current condition 07703581274
