Field water running over over grown path ,not passable on pavement with pram or child’s bike dangerous have to walk on road in heavy rain . Someone has dug back do you can see the depth of pavement or what it should be ,moved it on opposite side of pavement for some reason . When it freezes the road freezes have pictures of that to where a few accidents have happened,so dangerous to car users pedestrians

Mud and building waste on road from the ongoing building work on the new housing estate., 1st February

The mud and mess on the road from Farries Field, Stainburn CA14 1DQ, where the new housing estate building work is ongoing, is a disgrace. The mess goes all the way to Great Clifton. The road has become slippy and therefore a danger and trying to keep a vehicle clean is impossible having to travel on this road.

Final street light on this road was damaged this morning (8th Jan 2024), when a car left the road due to a hard frost on an ungritted surface. This leaves the area in complete darkness and more accidents are feared at this accident black spot between two blind bends. As well as repairing this street light, additional street lighting is actually required, especially given the new residential dwellings opposite.

Hope you are well, Please see attached photo, this is as you head Eastbound on the A66 from Stainburn heading towards Marron Bridge. There are 6 large deposits of grass cuttings from when your contractors last cut the grass. This is unsightly to anyone travelling this road and sets a standard we do not want replicated. May I ask you instruct your contractors to remove this waste at their earliest convenience and ensure that this practice does not repeat please? As you can appreciate this is fly tipping of trade waste effectively. Many thanks

The cycle way adjacent to the A595 from Chapel Brow to the Stainburn junction. In two sections either side of the A595 have become almost totally overgrown making the cycle way virtually impassable. Could the undergrowth please be cut back so that we don't have to cycle on the main highway

The road sweeper used to clean the road outside the new estate being built is not picking up the soil being left on the road surface. When the road sweeper goes over the road it is spraying water and brushing but the slurry is not being vacuumed up off the road.
