Treacherous road surface where there is a large volume of water flowing over it, has frozen. Note: no amount of salting will fix this problem, the water washes it away and then freezes. Please dig a ditch / calvert to stop the water flowing across the road. Thanks

Road surface breaking up where water has been running across road and frozen. Drainage needs sorting out and tarmac planed and resurfaced. Patch repair won't work unless water source is diverted first, often a problem even before we had all the rain, icy even if road is gritted as salt is washed away
