FIXMYSTREET IN CF39 0NF
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of CF39 0NF:
Bagged waste/cooking oil on pavement outside property, 24th April
A lot of bagged waste and canisters of cooking oil have been left outside the disused cafe ("Billy's Diner").
They were probably intended to be picked up for recycling as they are in council clear bags, however as they contain non-recyclable material they have been here for about a month.
I now class this as a fly-tip even though it may have been initially left with good intentions.

Train wreck manhole tar break up, 14th January
I'd reported this tar drain break up MONTHS ago via the RCT's website, but, as you will probably not be surprised, no repair has been undertaken, months on. As indicated by its point on the map, just by the 'bridge' which leads to the flats, and just after a traffic island, on a narrow patch of road, is a train wreck of tar break up around a manhole cover. It's impossible to avoid, and is struck by hundreds of vehicles, in addition to cycles, each day, given how busy the road is.

Parked across pavement, 28th December
Causing a danger to public as we have to walk on the road to pass. This area is used as a turning point for the street which is now no longer possible. Been parked like this for 24 hours & if not rectified I am worried this will become common practice.

Bags of building material/rubbish dumped, 24th August
There are several bags of rubbish dumped on the public pavement on Troedyrhiw Road just up from the alleyway (there is also additional rubbish in this area). Have been there for several days, it's not recycling (or if it was meant to be, it has not been taken probably due to contamination).

Several street lights not lit tonight, 21st August
At least three street lamps have not lit on Troedyrhiw Road and Chevron Street.
Locations are the one just south of Chevron Street, one between #7 and #8 on Chevron Street, and one at the closed end of Chevron Street (may possibly be located in Dol Afon). May also be one or two further up Troedyrhiw Road before Aldergrove Road
Unusual they have all stopped working at once, no other power issues in the street.

Rubbish bag by public bin, 17th August
Yet again, well-meaning volunteer has left a bag full of collected rubbish by the public bin at the junction of Chevron Street and Troedyrhiw Road.
Last time this was done it was nearly three weeks before the bag was collected.
I have asked several times for the council to talk to the resident with a view to either coordinating the collection so it can be picked up within a day by the street cleaning team, or alternatively that the bag be stored somewhere else.
As yet the behaviour continues.
