Locked gate, 13th December
This gate is on a public road that the council have previously confirmed has no traffic restriction on it. Therefore there should be no lock on the gate obstructing users such as horse riders or cyclists. The signs in one of the photos are referring to tracks other than the public road. It may be that this padlock is not a council one but put there by a local resident. Either way this padlock is an illegal obstruction which the council should arrange to be removed.

Half-job Hedge, 31st October
So... When are contractors coming back to cut the top of the hedge on The Parade? The front of it has been cut, but for some bizarre and unfathomable reason the top has been left untouched... And looks absolutely awful. It needs trimming down by at least 2 feet if not more in some places - it just looks plain bad, and quite frankly a job half done.
